American Idol

Yes, I watch this show and I have to say that this year they found their fair share of crazies. Do those people genuinely think they can sing? It is amazing what people will do to get on TV. I also have to mention that this year seemed to have quite a few mentally handicapped people and for them I just feel bad. It is uncomfortable to watch them get up there. And who is it that encouraged them to try out? Are people really that mean?

i hate american idol for both of the reasons you just outlined. 1) i can't stand to watch people who have been convinced either by overzealous parents or serious self-delusion that they can sing when they most clearly cannot. and 2) what kind of evil monsters include people who clearly are a little behind the curve on vignette reels so they can up their ratings? oh yeah, the producers at american idol. that is just uncool. ai is banned from my tv.

I may have to stop watching, at least for the audition part. It was pretty disturbing the other night.

Hey Amber- I had a feeling you would be a blogger so I looked you up. Cute family, cute blog, this will be a fun way to keep in touch. check us out we are crazycatfam.blogspot.com. Oh yeah and I love American Idol, once they get to the real performers, the auditions I think are not super nice, but I love it once they get to the performing.
