Today we went for monitoring and an amniocentesis to see if the baby's lungs are developed enough to have him by c-section tomorrow morning. Well it turns out that he miraculously unwound all the cord from his neck and he is doing well. So no amnio and no c-section (I was really anxious about both). Now just the waiting game.
This pregnancy has been full of emotional ups and downs and lots of anxiety. Hopefully this will be the last of pregnancy troubles for me and this little guy and he will arrive in a timely manner with no health issues. We're tired (literally) of all the drama.

what a total relief. all i've been thinking about is you stuck in a hospital with an infant in ICU with a slice through your belly, and matt trying not to kill the other three you already have until you get out. whew!
That is good news! Even though you had prepared yourself for the worst, this way IS so much better. Hopefully no more scares and he will just decide when his time is up! Besides, now you can clean the house and pack your bag a few more times... :)

I'm so glad to hear that!! Best news possible- now keep him in there until he's a cooked and then we can come meet him next month!

Yay! Great news. Looking forward to seeing adorable pics or your healthy boy...hopefully not until August though.
