My conversation with Kate about 10 minutes ago...
Kate - Mom, I need some pants to wear to school.
Me - If there are none in your drawer they are all dirty.
Kate - Well I need some pants.
Me - What would you like me to do? Why don't you just wear a dress?
Kate - (with tears streaming down her face) But none of them match my nails!

Oh! to have BEEN there. Cutest thing EVer. However, as helpful as you were being about finding poor Kate some pants- I wasn't sure we weren't glimpsing YOUR hormonal swings! Can't wait to hear that we have a new baby! Good luck!
Marci, your comment is evidence of having all boys. Girls are soooo picky about clothes that you loose any ambition to be helpful about their wardrobe choices. I have had similar conversations with Cora a thousand times. Although, her explanations don't even make as much sense as Kate wanting her nails to match. Amber, at least Kate is concerned about looking nice. I think that sometimes Cora's goal is to make sure that she doesn't!
